Central Geneva Pilates is a grouping of independent practitioners and teachers. Each member works by himself, for himself. The terms "Central Geneva Pilates" et "Central Geneva Pilates & Shiatsu" are the names of our place of work, or of our website, and do not imply a legal entity.

In 2004, Delphine began a 3 year apprenticeship in shiatsu, under the guidance of a certifed practitioner and teacher within the Fédération Française de Shiatsu Traditionnel (FFST). In 2007 she completed her training and became a professional level practitioner, and is now recognised as such by the FFST and the ASCA (organisation that verifies professional standards)
Starting her practice in Geneva in Central Geneva Pialtes, she has gone on to add pilates to her repertoir, completing the training Stott Matwork pilates in 2011, and now teaches group and private classes in addition to her shiatsu.

Monika is a certified to teach matwork pilates, pilates with small equipement, and pilates on the Reformer (Swissbody Pilates Academy, Geneva).
With 5 years of experience as a pilates instructor, she has worked in health centres, fitness centres, and in commercial organisations. She has also taught dynamic yoga and stretching for several years.
She also holds a diploma from the Fédération internationale des Sports, in addition to certificates in rehabilitation, back toning, and "special seniors training" (Fitness International Training School, Geneva).

Sandrine has always been interested in sport and working with the body through touch. With a business background in information technology built up over many years, it was only when she discovered pilates that she decided to make a job out of her passion.
Starting as a pilates instructor in 2008, she has undertaken ongoing training to keep up with the latest and most relevent approaches in the field. Her additional training includes: Pilates for Golf (Pilates Institute, Geneva, 2010), the use of Flowtonic in pilates (Pilates Institute, Geneva, 2010), and Pilates Fondamontal (essential pilates) (Rebook University - Evelyne Frugier, Cannes, France) (2011).
Simultaneously studying the 4 year shiatsu program at the Ecole Internationale de Shiatsu, Carouge, she is currently in her 4th and final year of studies, with her final year thesis focusing on the pelvic floor.

Céline started her professional life at the faculty of medicine, but reorientated to the study of osteopathy, graduating in 2002 from the 'Ecole Suisse d'Osteopathy', Belmont, Lausanne. Passionate about sport, and searching for complementary methods and techniques, she took up pilates, completing her full training in pilates in 2010
She currently uses both techniques, giving her a medico-sports approach to her client focussed skills. Dynamic and always aiming for perfection, Céline puts her passion and positive personality at the service of others

In 1990 Ben was teaching in rural Zimbabwe, before reading Japanese at Sheffield University, England. He first experienced shiatsu whilst working in Japan in 1993. Returning to London, he obtained his professional practitioner diploma at the British School of Shiatsu-do. In 2002 he relocated to Geneva, Switzerland
In Geneva Ben took up pilates, training in matwork pilates (2004, Stott Pilates, Oxford); pilates on the Reformer (2005, Stott Pilates, Oxford); "Injuries and Special Populations" (2007, Stott Pilates, Geneva); Pilates in pregnancy (2010, Geneva); pilates on the Cadillac (2010, Stott Pilates, Milan), and pilates in pregnancy (2011, Pilates Institute, Lausanne)
Increasingly Ben focus on a 'somatic' approach to pilates, which is the practice of pilates with an enhanced sensory awarenes of the inner movements of the body
