Delphine Archer - Shiatsu

After two years of studies in business communications, Delphine felt the need to take up another challenge: communication through touch.  For three years she studied in France alongside  a  practitioner-member of the French Federation of Traditional Shiatsu (Fédération Française de Shiatsu Traditionnel - FFST). In her turn, Delphine received her certification and became a member of the FFST.

 

Besides her regular practice of shiatsu, she is currently deepening her knowledge working with pregnant women.

Monika is a certified instructor for the teaching of matwork pilates, pilates with small equipement, and equipment (Reformer) based pilates with Swissbody Pilates Academy in Geneva. 
She holds a diploma from the Fédération internationale des Sports, in addition to varous certificates in rehabilitation, back toning, and "special seniors training", with the Fitness International Training School; she does ongoing training with the Pilates Academy for "special populations".

With 5 years of experience as a pilates instructor, she has worked in health centres, fitness centres, and in commercial organisations.  She has also taught dynamic yoga and stretching for several years.

Sandrine Marchon - Pilates & Shiatsu

After working in information technology for many years, Sandrine felt the need to introduce movement and body awareness back into her life.  In 2008 she completed her full training in pilates.  At the same time, she began shiatsu studies, and is currently in her 3rd year at the International Shiatsu School, Geneva.   She gives shiatsu at a reduced rate of 65CHF to reflect her advanced student status.

Ben Parsons - Pilates and Shiatsu

In 1990 Ben was teaching in rural Zimbabwe, before going up to read Japanese at Sheffield University, England.
He first experienced shiatsu whilst working in Japan in 1993. Returning to London, he obtained his professional practitioner diploma at the British School of Shiatsu-do. Having started his shiatsu practice in London, in 2002 he relocated to Geneva, Switzerland.

 

After attending pilates classes for a number of years, in 2004 Ben trained in matwork pilates with Stott Pilates (Oxford, England), in 2005 in ‘Reformer’ (equipment) based pilates, and in 2007 in Injuries and Special Populations (ISP). 


Ben speaks english and french.
